Great foundations for every skin type

When it comes to foundations it’s really hard to find the perfect one because there are so many options when going to the store. To help Aztecs find the right foundation for every skin type, I asked some of my friends what some their favorite foundations. No matter your budget, we have compiled a list of foundations that can be found at the drugstore and at high-end makeup boutiques.
NORMAL SKIN TYPE
$$ Born This Way by TooFaced: This is a good foundation for normal skin types because it is oil-free, but contains coconut water to moisturize the skin. It’s a medium to full coverage foundation. “I love this foundation and it is full coverage, and it gives my face more illumination than any other foundation,” said senior Daniela Murillo, “I would re buy it, but it is a little pricey.” You can find it at ULTA for $39.
$ Revlon Colorstay Liquid Makeup is a drugstore foundation that has a really big color range with 35 different shades. It has a medium coverage that you can build up too. It also claims to last up to 24 hours. Price may vary, depending where you buy it. $9-$20.
OILY SKIN TYPE
$$ Tarte Amazon Clay Foundation is the foundation I am currently using and I like it enough to re-purchase it. It is an oil-free and matte foundation with results that are true to what is advertised. Not only does it have an SPF of 15, but there’s a big range of shades to choose from and it is super bendable and buildable. It is my favorite foundation and it is vegan. You can get it at Sephora for $39.
$ Infalliable Pro-Matte Foundation claims to be a matte foundation that lasts up to 24 hour with a medium coverage. The price at your local drugstore is $12.99.
DRY SKIN
$$ NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer is a good foundation that helps dry skin feel moisturized. It has seawater to revive the skin and make it luminous and it hides the appearance of wrinkles, lines and pores. It has an SPF of 30, so it is really good to wear during the day. You can find it at Sephora for $44.
$ Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 foundation is full coverage that can be used for under eye circles and redness. It is a water-resistant foundation plus concealer. “It is great for dry skin, doesn’t stick to dry patches and has really good coverage,” said senior Sarah Lawrence. “I only have to touch up once around my nose, but that’s really common for me.” It can last for a long time and keeps skin looking naturally perfect. You can buy it for $9.99.
